Masonic Lodge - bloodwise-south-cheshire-receive-fund-raising-cheque

The Lodge of Wych Malbank helped raise £1,600 at a hog roast fund-raising event at Corner Farm in Wybunbury, writes Jonathan White.

The money has been given to Bloodwise, formerly known as Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, and the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Wych Malbank Masonic Lodge Master Gordon Raw said: “The Lodge sincerely thanks members, guests and friends for their generosity and support in raising £1,600 to be distributed equally between the two very deserving organisations.

“A cheque for £800 has also been given to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.”

Liz Boffey, of Bloodwise South Cheshire, said: “Bloodwise South Cheshire would like to thank the Lodge of Wych Malbank for their very kind donation of £800.

“We are extremely grateful to the members, guests and friends who have supported us in this way.

“All monies raised for Bloodwise South Cheshire go into research of all blood cancers and great strides are being made in the fight against blood cancer.”
