The Mayor of Nantwich Cllr Penny Butterill hosted her Big Quiz and helped to raise £1,200 for her selected charities.
More than 160 people including local businesses, community groups and keen quizzers came together to form teams at the quiz in Nantwich Civic Hall.
Compere Chris Radford, of The Cat Community Radio, led the teams through music, general knowledge, sports and picture rounds.
Vets R Us, the event’s 2016 winners, scooped the highest score of the night to regain the trophy!
Quizzers also enjoyed a prize raffle with some fabulous prizes donated from Nantwich Jazz Festival, Richmond Village, Morrisons, Sainsburys, and Gymophobics, to name but a few.
Charities that will benefit from the evening include Nantwich Museum and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Cllr Butterill said: “I was so pleased to see such a packed hall.
“It was a great evening thoroughly enjoyed by all.
“I would like to thank everyone who supported the event and for the very generous raffle donations.”
