Saturday 1st February 2020. Come and Sing Mendelssohn’s Elijah with Nantwich Choral Society at St. Mary’s Church, Church Lane, Nantwich, CW5 5RQ. The work will be conducted by Simon Russell and accompanied by Graham Eccles (organ)
We would love all singers to join us for the day, with Mendelssohn’s fabulous setting of the Elijah story which dramatises some of the most exciting and moving passages in the Bible – great drama, great music and great fun to sing!
Registration: 10.00
Rehearsals: 10.30 – 12.30 and 14.15 – 16.00
Lunch: 12.30 – 14.15 – bring your own or there is a selection of eateries in the town.
Performance: 18.00 for family and friends (and anyone else who would like to come)
