South Cheshire Advanced Motorcyclists will be holding a Free Motorcycle Rider Assessment day on March 3.

The events attracts motorcyclists from across the North West, North Wales and the West Midlands.

It will be staged at Broxton Picnic area at the junction of the A41 and A534, west of Nantwich, between 10am and 4pm.

Members will be on hand to discuss riding or capability matters  and accredited observers will carry out free assessment rides.

Observed rides, which are free, will last about 45 minutes and include pre and post ride briefings.

Organiser Bob Morris said: “All motorcyclists are welcome, but they must have passed their full motorcycle test before they are eligible for Advanced Motorcycling Guidance.”

Cheshire East residents  qualify for a 50% discount on the cost of the I.A.M.’s Skill for Life course provided by South Cheshire Advanced Motorcyclists.

The free assessment day is being staged in preparation for the group’s full spring course which starts on Sunday April 1.
