Staff and visitors at a marina near Nantwich have helped to raise more than £1,000 for charities.
Aqueduct Marina, at Church Minshull, has staged a number of events to raise the cash in the marina café and reception area.
And with one more event to come, organisers hope they will top £1,500.
The marina’s annual Christmas Fair takes place on Sunday December 1st, from 11am to 4pm.
Money raised this year has gone to the Helsby Golf Club Powered Wheelchair Appeal and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Robert Parton, marina director, said: “We are a relatively small marina with less than 150 boats, but our moorers and friends really pull out all the stops to raise funds for charity each year.
“The choice of our main charity comes from suggestions made by our moorers and friends and there are many very worthy charities put forward.
“This year’s charity was chosen by Geoff and Anya Harris, whose son has benefited from a powered wheelchair paid for by the Helsby Golf Club’s appeal.
“We hope many people will come along to the Christmas Fair and help us exceed our target for this year!”
