Nantwich Town have lost the services of highly rated defender Jamie Morgan who has signed for Chester FC.
Morgan (pictured) was one of a number of stand-out performers for the Dabbers last season, and has now moved up to National League with Chester.
Morgan enjoyed two seasons at the Weaver Stadium and played 97 times and scoring six goals in that time.
The Dabbers were already moving quickly to replace him and earlier this week confirmed the signing of full-back Matty Devine.
Devine joins the club following a spell with fellow Premier Division side Witton Albion.
He is the first signing for Dave Cooke this summer as he looks to bolster his first-team ranks following a campaign where the Dabbers missed out on promotion.
The 25-year-old began his career with Marine, before spells with Burscough and Albion, where he established himself as a solid full-back with an eye for goal, having spent some of his youth in a more forward position.
