Nantwich Town coasted to a 7-0 victory over lower league Cammell Laird in the Cheshire Senior Cup.
And the victory was marked by a first ever senior goal for the club by youngster Callum Parker (pictured).
In a replay of last season’s final, which Nantwich won 5-2, the Dabbers made short work of their lower league opponents at the Weaver Stadium.
They were 4-0 ahead at half-time, with Callum Saunders opening the scoring in the 11th minute, stabbing home an excellent cross by David Webb.
Sean Cooke fired in a fine second goal on 27 minutes, again latching on to a fine cross to blast home with his left peg.
Will Saxon weaved his way to a third goal when he evaded several challenges in the box and his shot squeezed under the keeper.
And Jamies Lawrie made it 4-0 on 33 minutes when he produced a fine finish after latching on to an excellent through ball by Cooke.
The hosts did not let up after the break, and had several chances before Cooke’s free-kick was deflected in for 5-0 on 68 minutes.
Saunders grabbed his second on 74 minutes to make it 6-0, benefiting from a ball from youngster Parker.
And Parker crowned a fine performance with his first for the club, heading in from close range on 88 minutes.
The Dabbers move into round three as they look to retain the trophy.
They are back in action this Saturday, when they face a tough road trip away at Scarborough Athletic.
