Nearly nine in ten of Cheshire’s over-50 population have had their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.
New data, from NHS England up to March 21, shows that an average of 87.3% of those in the various age groups from 50 onwards have had their first dose.
Former Crewe Alex, West Ham United and England striker Dean Ashton will be starring at Nantwich Town’s Sportsman’s Dinner this year.
Ashton scored 89 goals in 241 senior games and was touted as an England number one striker in the making.
