Two cats have been found dumped in a remote layby on a closed road near Nantwich, RSPCS officials said.

Animal rescuer inspector Jenny Bethel said it was lucky she found the hungry cats, who are such good friends they have been named Ross and Chandler.

Data from a freedom of information request shows that 23 complaints were made against CEC members in 2019-2020, with none being formally looked into.
