Cherry Blossom, part of the female-led Her-Place Charitable Trust, has joined with Oxley’s Funeral Services in providing a memorial stone at St Mary’s Church in Wistaston.

RSPCA Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre in Nantwich has hailed its first Cheese and Wine Evening as a big success after raising £2,150 for the centre’s work.

The event – supported by Falcon Wealth Management – brought together supporters for an evening of fine wine and cheese, music, raffle and auction at the centre on London Road.

A group of young friends from Nantwich, and one from Cornwall, are cycling from London to Istanbul to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and Alzheimer’s society.

James Redwood, Will Rowlands, Kieron Lawton and Ewan Davies, all aged 22, set off from Buckingham Palace on August 27 alongside their support van driver, Jude Metz.
