£11m Sydney Road bridge scheme to be complete by end of June

Work on the £11 million scheme to replace Sydney Road Bridge in Crewe will continue until the end of June, highways chiefs say.

The later than planned opening is due to poor weather conditions experienced earlier in the year and delays with works carried out by utility companies to divert their services.
