What’s On at Christmas – events coming up in and around Nantwich
It’s that time of year again – and we’re inundated with requests to publicise Christmas events.
So here is the latest rundown of what’s on as we approach the festivities.

Nantwich Museum to stage Christmas Craft Fayre
Nantwich Museum’s popular Christmas Craft Fayre will take place this weekend, November 25.
The event will feature goods made by the museum’s Craft Group, and will take place 10.30am to 3pm.
Acclaimed children’s author Matt Buckingham to visit Nantwich Library
Top children’s author Matt Buckingham will be telling stories when he visits Nantwich Library later this month.
Something fishy will be going on when Matt drops in on Saturday November 25, when he will be bringing his much-loved character Bright Stanley to the Beam Street venue.
Nantwich Museum to host second fund-raising Quiz Night
Nantwich Museum’s second fund-raising Quiz Night will take place on Sunday November 26 at Crewe Vagrants Sports Club in Willaston.
The event follows the success of a previous event earlier in the year.
Reaseheath College to stage Christmas Artisan Market in Nantwich
Shoppers have the chance to buy original gifts from local craftspeople at a Christmas Artisan Market being held at Reaseheath College in Nantwich.
The market will be staged on Saturday December 2, when the college’s mini zoo will also be open with a special visit from Father Christmas.
REVIEW: “White Christmas” by Curtain Call, Crewe Lyceum

Local theatre company Curtain Call is getting in the festive spirit this week with its production of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas at Crewe Lyceum.
Directed by Joel Montague, this feel-good show is full of wonderful singing, exceptional choreography and has an amazing live orchestra.

Nantwich Concert Band is to stage its popular annual Christmas concert on Saturday December 9.
The performance will take place at Nantwich Methodist Church on Hospital Street from 7.30pm.
