Wulvern Housing residents in Nantwich can visit the seaside in neighbouring Crewe at a summer fun day next week. The local housing provider is staging a summer fun day for its residents on Wednesday August 15 from 1pm at the Oakley Building, Victoria Centre.
Nantwich Litter Group volunteers helped clean up the town ahead of the Royal Horticultural Society National Finals Judging. More than 20 helpers used pickers and bags to clear litter from the outskirts of Nantwich and into the town square.

“Tudor Inventories” is the final one of four themed talks of the “Nantwich under the two Elizabeths” exhibition running at Nantwich Museum. The talk, by Andrew Lamberton, considers some 18 inventories of Nantwich people from the reign of Elizabeth I.
Nantwich Show organisers said all efforts are now focused on making The International Cheese Awards as big a success as possible. Secretary Adrian Lawrence confirmed they had to cancel the rest of Nantwich Show because of saturated ground conditions at Dorfold Park.
