It finally feels like Christmas when panto season starts.
Excited audiences (including me) were welcomed to Crewe Lyceum this week to celebrate the magical story of Aladdin.
Are you ready for panto? Oh yes you are.
The cast for this year’s production of Aladdin at Crewe Lyceum are busy rehearsing but some of them managed to take a break to chat with me earlier this week.
Imagine Theatre is searching for talented young dancers in South Cheshire to join the ensemble cast for Crewe Lyceum’s panto Aladdin.
An open audition will take place at the Crewe Lyceum Theatre on Sunday September 18 to find young people to join the ensemble cast.
Crewe Lyceum and pantomime producers Imagine Theatre have unveiled a star-studded line up for the panto season later this year.
It includes TV personality Louie Spence and Coronation Street favourite Jamie Kenna, as well as Channel 5 Milkshake! presenter Kiera-Nicole.

Shavington Village Festival Committee are delighting audiences this week by presenting their 40th consecutive pantomime, Aladdin.
Written by Bradford and Webster and directed by Rachel Hadzik-Chesters, this feel-good traditional panto was great entertainment and enjoyed by everyone who saw it on opening night.

The Andrews Panto & Plays Society (TAPPS) is performing ‘Aladdin’ at St Andrew’s Church Hall, Bedford Street in Crewe.
It will be on Friday January 12 and 13 at 7pm each day with a matinee on Saturday at 2pm.

Panto season kicked off to a magical start with Aladdin at The Lyceum Theatre on Saturday night.
Comedy legends Cannon and Ball starred alongside Sid Sloane for a wonderful evening of family entertainment and festive fun.
Comedy veterans Cannon & Ball will star in the Crewe Lyceum Christmas panto, Aladdin later this year.
The legendary double act have been entertaining for more than 50 years.
