International Women’s Day proved another crowd-puller drawing hundreds of people to a fun-packed event organised by Motherwell Cheshire.
The women’s health and wellbeing charity, based in Wistaston, staged its ninth annual celebration which filled the ground floor of Cheshire College, South & West in Crewe with stalls, music and dance.
Youngsters at Springfield School in Crewe and a charity supporting the health and wellbeing of women have teamed up to mark a day the international social calendar.
A programme of displays and fun activities will take place at Cheshire College, South and West in Crewe on March 4 to celebrate International Women’s Day.
A South Cheshire garden designer will take centre stage at Eve Ensler’s world renowned “V*gina Monologues” to support Greater Manchester women fleeing domestic abuse. Elizabeth Buckley, 54, will join 12 other women at the Birdcage nightclub in Manchester tomorrow (March 8).
