Fire crews tackled a blaze at a popular Nantwich pub which was being demolished by developers.
The Jolly Tar, in Barbridge, was undergoing demolition after closing down months ago.

Gang of bouncy castle thieves target two Nantwich pubs
Two pub landlords in Nantwich have been left deflated after crooks stole their bouncy castles. Thieves smashed down the rear fence of the Boot and Shoe pub in Hospital Street earlier today (July 16) to carry out their latest raid.

Motorbikers will be out on South Cheshire’s country roads as part of the second St Luke’s Hospice charity ride this month. The event will see 12 local motorcycle and scooter clubs coming together to organise a fund-raising event to support the hospice based in Winsford.
