Enzo in Nantwich is staging another “Charity Bake Off” event in aid of a local lady who is living with terminal cancer.
Every penny of every cake sold will be handed directly to mum-of-two Lisa, who is fighting brain cancer after already overcoming breast cancer.
Generous donations from hundreds of people and local businesses have helped Nantwich Town raise £20,000 to help it survive the COVID pandemic.
Donations include £3,000 from Applewood Independent and another £1,000 from Everything Genetic Ltd.
Nantwich Town chiefs have launched a JustGiving appeal in a plea to the community to help keep the club alive.
They say the COVID-19 Pandemic which brought the 2019/20 football season to a premature end in March has had a “devastating effect” on finances.
