More than 1,000 women and 300 volunteers took part in the ninth St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice Nantwich to Crewe Midnight Walk. The walk started at Reaseheath College where participants were given a rousing send off during a Redshift Radio outdoor stage show.
A new Nantwich Philosophy Club course is being launched in Nantwich next month. Ben Cassidy, associate lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University in Crewe, will be running the “Introduction to Philosophy” class at The Gables, on Beam Street.
More than 1,000 women braved the floods to take part in the St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice 2012 Midnight Walk from Crewe to Nantwich. The 13-mile stroll should raise thousands of pounds for the hospice which helps hundreds of people across South Cheshire.
Nantwich women can now sign up for 2012 Midnight Walk to help raise money for St Luke’s (Cheshire) Hospice. The walk, the eighth to be held in the region, takes place on Saturday June 9 through Crewe and Nantwich.
