Leighton Hospital’s “One in Eleven Appeal” has received another cash boost thanks to staff at Sainsbury’s Nantwich. Employees won a sales competition organised by Red Bull and donated the winnings of £250 to the store’s Charity of the Year.
A young Nantwich woman is back in action when she becomes the first woman to compete in “Rage in the Cage” in Stoke-on-Trent next month. Anya Lynette Hynes, 23, from Wrenbury, will fight in a semi-pro bout at the event in the Queen’s Theatre, Burslem.
