War hero’s son special guest for Marbury Spitfire flypast

The son of a true war hero was special guest during the Marbury Merry Days Spitfire Flypast.

John Wojda’s father Zbigniew ‘Adam’ Wojda was a Polish Spitfire pilot and instructor during the Second World War.

Forces veterans from across the North West gathered in Manchester today for a special RAF 100th anniversary event, which included five iconic RAF planes used in the last century. We sent Nantwich News reporter Ben Wareing to capture the occasion.
