Nantwich Town FC Reserves beat AFC Crewe 17-1 in the First Round of the Crewe & District FA Challenge Cup.
The Dabbers reserves are managed by military veteran Colin Carruthers, who served for 20 years in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Nantwich Town eased through to the Second Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup with a 2-0 win over Grantham Town at the Optimum Pay Stadium.
Before the game, there was a minute’s applause for legendary Dabber James “Pat” Smith who died earlier in the week.
Nantwich Town returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 1-0 away victory at Cheshire rivals Witton Albion.

Nantwich Town were beaten at home by Matlock as they looked to bounce back from defeat to Whitby.
It was a frenetic start as both sides had opportunities to score the first and crucial goal at the Optimum Pay Stadium.
Nantwich Town Ladies played their last pre-season game in preparation for the new season with a friendly game victory over Runcorn Sports Women FC.
Due to a waterlogged pitch at Runcorn’s ground, the game was switched to the Applewood Independent 3G Arena astroturf pitch at Nantwich Town Football Club.

Nantwich Town Wolves VIFC are introducing weekly pan disability football training sessions for under 16s from Sunday August 29.
The sessions from 4pm will take place on the Applewood Independent 3G Arena astro-turf pitches.
