Woore Cricket Club Junior Academy ended their hugely successful season by winning the Shropshire Girls Under 11s Softball Cup Final.
The youngsters triumphed at Wroxeter and Uppington on Sunday September 2.

Every age group at the club was represented at matches for the first time at the weekend as the U13 and U15 girls played their first matches.

Under 13 boys and Under 15 girls teams from Cheshire, which won their regional finals, competed against the UK’s best.
A free FA skills girls-only football session is being staged in Nantwich.
The training session will be held during the half-term, on Wednesday October 26, 2-4pm at Nantwich Town FC.
The FA is staging a free February half term football session for girls.
The session is being offered to girls aged 7-11 at Nantwich Town FC’s 3G pitch at the Weaver Stadium.
Crewe & Nantwich RUFC are hoping to launch a new girls rugby team aimed at teenagers.
The Vagrants club is keen to reach out and plug a gap as teenage girls keen on the sport currently have no side to play for locally once they reach 13.
Crewe and Nantwich girls football team are recruiting for more players.
The club is on the look out for their under 10s and under 12s teams.
