The hunt for missing teenager Haydn Mark Evans has been extended to Nantwich and the rest of Cheshire.
More than 60 officers are searching for the 18-year-0ld (pictured) who vanished from a Christmas party at Carden Park Hotel, near Broxton, last Saturday.
Desperate family and friends have put up posters across North Wales and Cheshire, including Nantwich, Crewe, Chester, Wrexham, Mold, Holywell, Deeside, Prestatyn, and as far away as Leeds and Wakefield appealing for his safe return.
His mother, Lynsey Bell, from Coedpoeth, near Wrexham, made a public plea at a press conference at Carden Park Hotel this week.
“All the family are just in bits, having nightmares and not sleeping. We just want you back, son,” she said.
Detectives urged an anonymous caller who said they had seen someone matching Haydn’s description walking along the A41 Whitchurch Road towards Chester and Malpas to call back.
Detectives and specialist units, including air support and dog patrols, are still searching the 1,000-acre estate for clues and examining CCTV footage from the Broxton Road hotel to establish Haydn’s last moves.
Police are appealing to residents to check any empty buildings on their land, including farm buildings, sheds or garages, in case Haydn took shelter from the cold weather.
Detectives want motorists who may have seen Haydn on the A41 Whitchurch Road or A534 Wrexham Road in the early hours of Saturday.
Chief Insp Julie Westgate said: “We are extremely concerned for Haydn′s welfare, especially given the exceptionally bad weather conditions we experienced last weekend.
“We have a significant amount of resources committed in the search, and understand this is completely out of character for him to not be in touch with his family or friends.”
Haydn is 5ft 9in, slim, with short brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark, long-sleeved shirt and trousers.
Anyone with information can call Cheshire Police on 101.
