A night of fashion and shopping in Nantwich helped raise almost £1,500 for Leighton Hospital.
The event at Richmond Village Nantwich will help fund extra equipment and refurbishment projects across Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
“We are really proud to have held the Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity fashion show here,” said Alison Harding, sales manager at Richmond Village Nantwich.
“It is something we have never done before but it was really good and a fantastic evening was had by all.
“In fact some of our residents enjoyed it so much they have requested we hold another one.”
Liz Southall, from RedShift Radio who compered the event, said: “It was great to see so many local retailers and Richmond Village Nantwich coming together to support this charity and the fantastic work it does.
“Everyone had a great time and it was a fantastic way to showcase what Nantwich shops have to offer just before Christmas, while raising money for a great cause.”
The evening featured a catwalk show of outfits from stores in Nantwich, including Fat Face, Bratts, Wall Street, Parkgate, Cinderella’s and Naïve.
There were also stalls for people to buy toiletries, Christmas items, jewellery, gifts and accessories.
“We are very grateful to Richmond Village Nantwich and RedShift Radio for supporting this event and to everyone who came along and helped raise so much money for the charity,” said Laura Bailey, MCHC fundraising manager.
“It was a night of brilliant fun and this money will help us to further enhance our services across Mid Cheshire even more.”
