St Luke’s Hospice is to hold its annual Community Christmas Fair on November 28.
The event, organised by St Luke’s nurses, will feature 60 stalls offering foods, clothes, games, children’s toys, treats and trinkets.
Santa and his helpful Elves will be joining the festive fun, meeting and greeting children.
Winsford High Street Primary School Choir will also be performing Christmas carols from 10am-12pm.
Karen Jackson, in-care ward sister, said: “Each year we are thrilled with the range of stalls and items on sale at the Community Christmas Fair.
“Don’t forget to bring your pocket money as there will be something for everyone, as well as 60 stalls, there will be tombola, a raffle and games.
“The fun and friendly atmospheric makes for a magical and memorable shopping experience. Last year the Christmas Fair raised £6,000 for St Luke’s and helped provide vital care and services for patients and their families over the Christmas period.”
Meanwhile, a supermarket distribution centre’s charity golf day has helped the hospice raise £1,500.
Colleagues from Morrisons distribution centre in Gadbrook, staged their fifth annual golf competition at the Macdonald Portal Golf Club in Tarporley.
Mark Porter, corporate and community fundraiser for St Luke’s, said: “The competition was fierce on the day and the standard of play excellent.
“But the most important thing was the generosity of everyone involved and the amazing sums they helped to raise.”
In total, the golf day raised more than £6,400, of which £1,500 was donated to St Luke’s and the remainder to Sue Ryder.
