Crewe and Nantwich favourites Moving Moscow headline The Box this week as they conclude their winter tour with a single release show.
The six-piece head up a four-band special at the Pedley Street venue on Friday as they release their fourth single, Cut Me Down.
Their tour has taken them around the country, including London’s trendy Surya venue, and they wrap it all up back in South Cheshire this weekend.
Joined by The Eyres, Skeletal Damage and Blunderbuss Benefit, the band are looking to round off a busy period in style.
Singer Dan Parry said: “The winter tour has been really great and we’ve enjoyed taking our music around the country.
“But coming back to The Box is always the highlight and we’re really looking forward to seeing our South Cheshire-based fans again!
“We’ve been in and out of the studio a lot over the past few months and some really good stuff has come out of those sessions.
“We released Defiance at the end of October – we’re really proud of that song, and it’ll be included on a four-track EP we’re releasing early in the new year.”
Also included on that EP, to be titled Battles, is Cut Me Down – a fans’ favourite which sums up the band at their most anthemic.
Dan said: “We wrote it quite some time ago but it’s a song we always knew gets peoples’ attention.
“We’ll be announcing how people can get their hands on that song this Friday night at The Box – don’t miss out!”
