It’s that time of year again when homes across Crewe and Nantwich light up the night sky with their amazing Christmas decorations.
And photographer Jonathan White has been out and about to capture the most eye-catching light displays.
Jonathan, of Wistaston, said: “I enjoy the Christmas lights in the Crewe and Nantwich town centres, but I also really enjoy the over-the-top Christmas lights and decorations (including the occasional inflatable decoration and light show) that some local homeowners set up each year.
“Their electricity bills must be sky high!
“But they never fail to bring a smile to my face.”
Favourite houses in Crewe this year are in Alton Street, Broad Street, Carlisle Street, Davenport Avenue, Grasmere Avenue, Harris Close, Jesmond Crescent, Marple Crescent, Melford Close, Moreton Road, Ravenscroft Road, Ruskin Road, Salisbury Avenue, Timbrell Avenue, and Vincent Street.
Some of the best in Wistaston are in Westfield Drive and Lear Drive.
And Jonathan’s top homes in Nantwich are in Cope Avenue and Richmond Nantwich (Village Centre).
Crewe Town Council and Nantwich Town Council have also erected town centre light displays, and Graham Witter’s “Weston Christmas Light Display” at Carters Green Farm in Weston is proving another massive hit, helping to raise funds for Donna Louise Children’s Hospice.
This is open to the public every evening until Thursday December 28, 6.15pm to 9pm. Entry is by donation.
