A cyclist has been seriously injured in a collision with a car on London Road in Nantwich.
The cyclist, aged in his 30s, was airlifted to hospital after the accident at the junction with Wybunbury Lane, in Stapeley.
The incident happened just before 11am today (July 31).
A Cheshire Police spokesman said they received reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a cyclist.
The spokesman said the cyclist has suffered serious injuries and has been airlifted to North Stafordshire Hospital.
Police have closed the A51 London Road to traffic at its junction with Peter de Stapleigh Way while an investigation at the scene continues.
