As a nation of animal lovers we are calling on your readers to speak up for animals to make sure that animal sentience becomes enshrined in UK law.
Animal sentience was the only issue which was not carried over after Brexit and so the RSPCA has been campaigning to ensure the needs of sentient animals are taken into account by Governments when making policy decisions.
Anyone eligible for a COVID vaccination can have one at a walk-in clinic at Nantwich Civic Hall today (January 17).
Vaccines are available at the walk-in between 2pm and 7pm and today.
St Mary’s Church on Monks Lane in Acton have organised ‘Holly Holy Day’ Battle of Nantwich events this Saturday January 22.
The church will be open from 9am until 11:30am serving hot drinks and buttered toast.

Cheshire East Council chiefs are being urged to plough an extra £2.7 million into its highways budget amid claims the council has lost interest in looking after its transport infrastructure.
The highways and transport committee voted yesterday (January 13) to ask for the cash.
Nantwich residents are being asked to nominate “landmark” buildings and features in the town for a new Cheshire Local List of heritage assets.
Buildings like Nantwich Museum, Beam Street Almshouses and Players Theatre were named by town councillors last night as worthy inclusions.
Familiar face Devlin Hobson was tonight confirmed as Nantwich’s new Town Crier.

Taxi drivers are in short supply across Crewe and Nantwich after nearly 150 quit when their trade was badly affected by the pandemic.
Kim Evans, licensing team leader at Cheshire East Council, said this was a regional and national issue and London was down by about 4,000 drivers.
