READER’S LETTER: Lockdowns “killing far more” than Covid virus

Dear Editor,
On the 14/10, Health Secretary Matt Hancock said: “Our strategy is to suppress the virus, supporting the economy, education & the NHS until a vaccine makes us safe.”
This is another blatant, bare-faced lie from Hancock.

READER’S LETTER: Clarity on over 75s TV licence fee concessions

Dear Editor,
I am writing in response to a letter (dated 18/10/20) ‘What’s happening with TV licences for over 75s?’

For clarification, the new scheme covering the over 75s licence fee concession came into effect from 1 August this year, not October as the letter suggests.

READER’S LETTER: What’s happening with TV licences for over 75s?

Dear Editor,

READER’S LETTER: “Dump the EU Withdrawal Treaty, Boris”

Dear Editor,
Boris is being criticised for threatening to ditch part of the Withdrawal Treaty with the EU.

My only criticism is that he is not planning to bin the entire Withdrawal Treaty and not going for ‘NoDeal’
with the EU.

READER’S LETTER: Local councils should object to A&E walk-ins ban

Dear Editor,
On behalf of ‘Putting CreweFirst’ I have been campaigning for several weeks to retain walk-ins to Leighton Hospital.
Of those local people who use the A&E, around 65% are walk-ins.

Dear Editor,
Gifts in Wills have always been important to charities but never more so than this year.

During Covid-19, blind and partially sighted people have struggled to access essentials like food and medicine.
