Winners from all ages celebrated victory at the Crewe Central Table Tennis Club 2025 Championships in Nantwich.
The club – based on Regents Park off London Road – saw scores of players aged between 10 and 80 battle it out in various categories.
A brilliant opening stand of 137 was the foundation of a Nantwich CC success that took the first team into the last 32 of the ECB National Club Championship.
Ray Doyle’s team will now take on Cheshire County Cricket League rivals Didsbury for a place in the last 16 after beating Wolverhampton CC by six wickets at Whitehouse Lane.
Crewe CC Ladies notched two wins as both men’s teams also gained victories in the North Staffs and South Cheshire League.
The Ladies said first beat Over Peover after winning the toss and electing to field.
South Cheshire families are being invited to ‘Get into Golf’ at a Nantwich golf centre this May half-term.
The Need Golf Centre, near Reaseheath College, has partnered with England Golf to participate in the “Get into Golf” campaign.

Forward Fallon took home trophies for Most Assists, Top Goalscorer, Manager’s Player of the Season, and the big one Player of the Season as voted for by supporters.

Striker Evans won three honours including Top Goalscorer, Best Goal and Men’s Player of the Season.
