Pupils and teachers across Nantwich are putting the final touches to the eagerly-anticipated SkoolsFest 2014 event later this month. The event will see all 16 schools in the Nantwich Education Partnership (NEP) take part for the second festival of its kind.
The next Nantwich Family Films@4 screening will be “Mary Poppins” after organisers allowed the public to vote! The films, screened at Nantwich Methodist hall on Hospital Street, have proved a big hit since the community cinema project was launched in January.

Nantwich Museum has been awarded a grant of £8,250 to secure the future of its popular “Nantwich Treasure” display. The grant has come from the “Treasure Plus” scheme through the Art Fund, supported by The Headley Trust.

Nantwich Museum featured a part of its “Celebration of Salt” exhibition at the Salt Sunday event held at Winnington. The exhibition focussed on the literary celebrations of the local salt industry.
