The line-up for the 8th Words and Music Festival in Nantwich has been unveiled – and includes star singer and actress Barbara Dickson.
She Scottish-born singer will be one of the big draws to the six-day festival in October.

Talented children from across the town will be performing the Big Sing as part of SkoolzFest tomorrow (July 4).
A concert featuring four community choirs and the Band and Drum Corps of the Cheshire Constabulary will be held in St Mary’s Church, Nantwich.
The event is to take place on Saturday July 11 at 7.30pm.
Nantwich Library will be holding a two-week exhibition from Monday July 6 to Friday July 17 based in the Local Studies Library.
The exhibition is entitled “Life in Edwardian Cheshire” and will explore the full picture of life in Cheshire East during this period.
SkoolsFest and Nantwich Fete, one of the biggest events in the town, comes to Nantwich on July 4.
The event includes The Big Sing featuring one mass choir with pupils from schools across the town and nearby villages.
The Nantwich Concert band wowed a packed crowd at the Civic Hall.
The band hosted the “Midsummer Music Concert” in front of Nantwich’s new Mayor and deputy Mayor, Cllrs Andrew Martin and Norma Simpson.
Well-known gorilla conservationist Ian Redmond OBE will be in Nantwich next week to give a talk at Reaseheath.
Ian is guest of the Reaseheath Conservation Society which is staging the event to help raise funds for Gorilla Conservation.
The popular Plant and Book Sale organised by Nantwich Museum Trust will take place at the museum in Pillory Street this Saturday June 6.
The event, between 10am and 12.30pm, will offer a wide selection of plants and books available for sale in aid of museum funds.
Richmond Village in Nantwich is holding a “Celebrate National Armed Forces Day” event on
Sunday June 28.
It will feature an afternoon of entertainment and celebration in association with the Royal British Legion.
This year’s Cholmondeley Pageant of Power near Nantwich will host the world’s only flying Vulcan – on its last ever flight in Cheshire.
The Vulcan to the Sky Trust, which owns and operates the aircraft, has announced that 2015 will be the final flying season for the Vulcan XH558.
A Baby and Children’s Market event is taking place at Nantwich Civic Hall on June 13.
The community market is organised by Cheeki Monkeys, and aims to offer families a chance to buy or sell used baby and children’s items.

Nantwich will host the annual Cheshire Triathlon on Sunday, with hundreds of participants expected to take part.
The annual event, which is aimed at all fitness levels and abilities, offers different intensity levels in races, including a fun race.
