Local TV director David Parker is giving an illustrated talk entitled ‘Laurie Lee – The Lost Recordings’ at the Nantwich Bookshop & Coffee Lounge.
The talk will take place on Thursday November 21 and will include reflections on love, landscape, writing, poetry, childhood, music and more from the voice of Laurie Lee – one of the great English writers of the last century.

Thousands of people young and old packed Nantwich town square to enjoy the annual Christmas Lights Switch On event.
Organised by Nantwich Town Council, the switch on involved several hours of entertainment before VIP youngsters took to the stage to turn on the festive lights.

I’ve been lucky enough to see Blood Brothers a couple of times now, and each time I’ve noticed the amazing atmosphere which surrounds this show.
Nantwich Town Council and British Legion will be staging a Remembrance Service in Nantwich Town Centre this Sunday, November 10.
The service will be led by Rev. Dr Mark Hart, of St Mary’s Church in Nantwich.
