The 11th annual Signal 1 ‘Nantwich Spooktacular’ took place at Nantwich Show Ground last night, writes Jonathan White.
Despite 24 hours of rain beforehand, the evening weather was dry and clear for thousands who attended.

Local author Noel K Hannan is to promote his neo-noir cyberpunk graphic novel “Streetmeat 25th Anniversary Edition” at Nantwich Bookshop & Coffee Lounge.

Richmond Village Nantwich joined BBC Music Day to highlight dementia
Richmond Village in Nantwich took part in BBC Music Day to help a campaign to bring music to everyone in the UK living with dementia by 2020.
The retirement village held a classical music afternoon for residents and those living in the local community to enjoy an afternoon singing, sharing memories and raising awareness of dementia.
