Jon Courtenay, winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2020, will be performing at Crewe Lyceum in autumn as part of his UK tour.
Following his enormous success as the first Golden Buzzer act ever to win Britain’s Got Talent, Courtenay will be setting out on his debut tour and playing Crewe Lyceum on October 31.

I read this article with interest – after all, I was the Cabinet member in 2015 who oversaw the implementation of this policy.
Nantwich-based Cheshire Blades FC is improving its conservation area after it was awarded community funding from a house builder.
The club, located on Crewe Road in Willaston, has received a £1,000 donation from Redrow’s Kingsbourne community fund.

A 90-year-old woman has blasted Cheshire East Council proposals to charge over 85s for a lifeline care alarm service which is currently free.
Cheshire East is consulting with residents on proposals to introduce a £5 a week charge for the telecare service which, at present, is free to residents aged 85 and over if they live alone.

Nantwich artist Tony Denton has donated his painting of the Nantwich Town FC crest being painted to the club.
Tony, accompanied by son Harvey, presented his 2ft by 3ft canvas artwork to Nantwich Town FC chairman Jon Gold on the pitch at the Optimum Pay Group Stadium earlier this week.
Nantwich shop and business owners have been taking part in Nantwich Pride Festival 2021, writes Jonathan White.
Numerous outlets set up window displays in their premises in support of the festival.
Nantwich Civic Hall will see a return of weekly clubs and activities as the final Covid pandemic restrictions are lifted on July 19.
From Monday, a programme of activities will restart during the daytime and followed by the welcome return of evening classes/clubs in the near future.

Nantwich Town played out a creditable goalless draw with Wolves’ development squad at the Optimum Pay Stadium.
The Premier League academy brought a combination of their under-23s and under-18s squads to face Dave Cooke’s side, and were given a great run for their money.
