A massive 37% more working age households applied for council tax support in Cheshire East during the pandemic.
In May 2019, 9,306 working age households applied for the support.
Fire crews from Nantwich and Crewe tackled a fire in a garage fire in Shavington earlier today (July 8)
The incident happened at a property on Osborne Grove, and started just after 3pm.

Millfields Primary School pupils have been encouraging residents to join them on their new Fairground Trail around Nantwich.
