Perfecto Records roster DJs, who played sets based around trance and house music, were Nat Monday, Danny Stubbs, Zed White, and Scott Callis, along with local DJ Alex Brown.

Nathan Cotterell’s first goal for Nantwich Town was not enough as the Dabbers were beaten 2-1 at Whitby Town on the Yorkshire coast.

The winger gave Nantwich the lead after 32 minutes when he intercepted a poor back-pass by Dan McWilliams to slide his effort under hosts’ goalkeeper Jack Norton.

A third man from South Cheshire has died days after his two friends were killed in the same road accident on the A41 near Chester.

Darryl Smith, 29, and his friend Sean Broomhall, 24, both of Wistaston, died as a result of the collision.

The 64-year-old, who also worked for a short time at Stoke City, was convicted of more charges at Liverpool Crown Court today (February 15).
