The annual ‘The Proms at Acton’ concert will take place on Remembrance Sunday November 10.
St Mary’s Church on Monks Lane in Acton will host the event which starts at 6.30pm.

Motorcyclists in serious accidents in Nantwich over weekend
Three people were badly injured in two separate motorcycle accidents in the Nantwich area over the weekend.

Nantwich Museum has launched a fundraising campaign to buy a post-medieval ring found in Acton.
The gold and enamelled ‘fede’ ring has been valued at £2,000 and the Museum on Pillory Street wants to raise this through donations to make the acquisition.

The fire happened at around 9.45pm last night (September 14) on the canal off Chester Road in Acton.

The most recent walks took place on Sunday March 6 in sunny weather and attracted 55 walkers and two dogs.
Route of inaugural Nantwich 10km road race is revealed

The inaugural ‘Nantwich 10k Road Race’ will take place this Sunday March 20.
The race, organised by Mike Stevens, Founder of Nantwich Running Club, will get underway at around 9.30am and runners will race around a 10km (6.2 miles) loop on closed roads.

Monthly “Tea at The Tower” guided circular walks from St Mary’s Church in Acton restarted today (September 5) after being suspended since March 2020 due to the pandemic.
The ‘Tea at The Tower’ walks are at a relaxed pace from 1pm.
