Instead of this, how about resurfacing the current roads and trim the foliage on the trees that are covering the road signs that show the speed limit and directions.
Especially if you’re a tourist or new to the area you want to know where you are and the speed limits!

Cheshire East Council’s cabinet, at a meeting on Tuesday, gave its endorsement for work to progress on the scheme between junction 16 and the Meremoss roundabout.

A major project to dual the A500 single carriageway between Crewe will start in 2020 after it was given planning approval.
The £55 million project has been unanimously approved by Cheshire East Council’s strategic planning board at a meeting yesterday (December 19).
The dualling of the A500 between Crewe and the M6 motorway has moved a step closer.
It is one of three major highways schemes planned for Cheshire East which the authority’s Cabinet has agreed.
