Police have seized almost 400 illegal vehicles such as e-bikes off the streets of Cheshire, figures showed today.
Officers working under Operation Lawmaker seized a further 10 vehicles and arrested two people during the latest crackdown in Crewe and Nantwich.
A senior Nantwich officer has pledged to pursue those continuing to ride e-bikes and e-scooters illegally in the town.
Sgt Matt Stonier told town councillors it was one of their priorities as he updated the council on latest policing in the community.
Detectives investigating incidents involving youths on e-bikes threatening people in Nantwich and Crewe are appealing to the public for information.
There have been multiple reports of a group of young men dressed all in black making threats across Crewe and Nantwich in the past few weeks.
