2022 has been a difficult year financially for people in the UK.

A Cheshire East councillor has sought reassurance that Cheshire East Council is not anti-fracking and would keep an open mind if applications came forward in light of the current energy crisis.

My supplier (E-on next) contacted me yesterday (19th) to tell me what they were increasing my monthly DD too.
In simple terms they were putting it up by £124 per month (84%) from the level I paid in March 2022.
Cheshire East Council bosses say they will make nearly 130,000 council tax energy rebate payments having been allocated £19.2m from the government.

Labour-run Cheshire East’s Energy Company has lost a whopping £151,000.
It is bad enough that local council taxpayers have recently been forced to pay large increases in the energy costs for their home… they also now have to bail out the council run Energy Company as well!
