The headteacher and staff at an Audlem primary school have hailed a successful Ofsted inspection.
The overall rating in all areas for Audlem St James’ Primary School is “good” after a two-day inspection last month.
Staff and pupils and Tarporley CofE Primary School are celebrating an “Excellent” grading in their latest SIAMS report.
It’s the highest possible grade awarded to a school which undergoes the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) inspection.
Wrenbury Primary School has been rated “Good” in its latest Ofsted inspection and was praised as a “happy, friendly and thriving village school”.
The Ofsted report highlighted the “dedication and commitment” in providing high quality educational experience and personal wellbeing for all the children.

More than 90% of 999 calls are now being answered by Cheshire Police within 10 seconds compared to 76% this time last year.
And 90% of all grade one incidents in October, November and December were attended within the target time of 15 minutes, police commissioner John Dwyer said.

Vetting procedures for police recruits in Cheshire have been tightened since a serving officer was jailed for raping a 13-year-old girl, the force’s commissioner has said.
PC Ian Naude, who was then 30, was jailed for 25 years in 2018 for raping the teenager and for four convictions relating to sexual offences against other children.
A nursery in Nantwich has been classed as “Outstanding” in its latest inspection by Ofsted.
La Maternelle, based on Barony Court in Nantwich, was visited by inspectors on October 17.
Cheshire College – South & West’s on-campus nursery ‘Starting Point’ has been awarded “Outstanding” status by Ofted.
The nursery, on the Crewe campus, was inspected in August and staff are “overwhelmed” to have maintained their Outstanding rating.
Brine Leas School in Nantwich has maintained its “good” rating after the latest Ofsted inspection.
Inspectors visited the Audlem Road school in May.
Millfields Primary School in Nantwich has been hailed as a “very special place” by Ofsted during a recent inspection.
The school and nursey, off Marsh Lane, was given an overall “Good” rating after the inspection visited in January.
Bunbury Aldersey CE Primary school has been rated as “good” by Ofsted in its first inspection since becoming part of the Rural Church Schools Academy Trust in 2017.
The school, inspected in January under the new Ofsted framework, was rated outstanding in three out of the five categories.
Cheshire College – South & West has been rated “Good” in its latest Ofsted inspection.
It was the first full inspection since South Cheshire College and West Cheshire College merged in March 2017.
