One of South Cheshire’s most cherished country fairs is back this weekend as Marbury Merry Days returns for its 45th year.

The two-day fair, which takes place on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May, is set in a picturesque field in Marbury, near Wrenbury, with a host of entertainment for all ages.

Battle of Britain Memorial Flight to soar over Marbury Merry Days

The iconic Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will pass over the 44th annual Marbury Merry Days country fair, organisers have confirmed.

This year’s fair takes place on May 10-11, the weekend which will mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

Thousands of people basked in warm sunshine as they enjoyed the 43rd annual Marbury Merry Days country fair.

The fair, organised by St Michael & All Angels Parochial Church Council, was opened by the Cheshire Dairy Queen Team – Charlotte Kinsey, Hannah Reade and Olivia Wain – who are ambassadors for Cheshire Young Farmers.
