CEC launches £1 bus fare for young people across Cheshire East

Cheshire East Council has launched a bus saver pass for young people aged 16-19, offering a £1 flat fare for single journeys across the borough.

The 16-19 Bus Saver card now offers single bus fares for £1 and is valid on local bus services for journeys that start and/or finish within Cheshire East at any time.

Cheshire College South & West celebrates 99.7% A Level pass rate

Staff and students at Cheshire College – South & West have celebrated A Level and AS Level results with an overall pass rate of 99.7% – more than 2% above the national pass rate.

Top results were achieved across a range of subjects, especially in Archaeology, Geology and German with 100% of students achieving A*, A, or B grades.

South Cheshire College students and staff are celebrating ten years of 99% or above pass rate across A Levels.

This year’s results show a pass rate of 99.1% – above the national pass rate of 98.1%.
