“Sad day” for Stapeley campaigners who fought Muller Property development

Campaigners who fought to stop the controversial Muller development in Stapeley have called it a “sad day”.

Muller has been granted planning permission by the Secretary of State for the first phase of it’s 1,000-home “Nantwich South” scheme on land between Peter de Stapleigh Way, Audlem Road and the A51 London Road.

Blow for Stapeley campaign as Government reverses Muller Property ruling

New Local Government Communities Secretary Greg Clark has reversed a decision to dismiss Muller Property Group’s appeal over refusal for its “Nantwich South” development.

In March, Eric Pickles overruled a planning inspector and dismissed Muller’s appeal against Cheshire East Council, which had refused permission for 189 homes and an access road.
