Nantwich residents are being urged to try a new activity to get fit – Nordic Walking. Taster sessions are being staged later this month and in July in a bid to persuade more people to get out during the summer.
Nantwich residents can look forward to a summer of flourishing flower beds thanks to an award-winning training scheme. The project, run by Cheshire East Council and delivered by Reaseheath College, has seen budding gardeners working in parks and gardens.
College students in Nantwich have planted thousands of bluebells to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. Ten students from Reaseheath College planted 5,000 bulbs alongside the Crewe to Nantwich Greenway in Wistaston.
Reaseheath College students and staff are joining in the Crewe Queens Park celebrations. The college is joining forces with Crewe and Nantwich Horticulture Society to present a local produce and activities show, including demonstrations.
