Nantwich Museum has announced a new programme of guided walks.
Options include a Riverside Walk, Nantwich Town Tour, Nantwich East Tour, Welsh Row Tour, along with a new walk for 2025 – Pubs of Nantwich Walking Tour.
The popular ‘Tea at the Tower’ guided walks from St Mary’s Church in Acton are to continue in 2025.
The first walk is on Sunday (January 5) will take participants on a leisurely four-mile route.
Everybody Health and Leisure are organising free “Ramblers Wellbeing Walks” to mark National Walking Month.
And it will include the relaunch of weekend walks from Nantwich Leisure Centre starting this Sunday May 26.

The walks are at a relaxed pace and routes mainly involve canal towpath and lane walking but may involve stiles.

“Tea at The Tower” guided walks are proving a big hit from St Mary’s Church on Monks Lane in Acton.
The most recent walks took place on Sunday March 6 in sunny weather and attracted 55 walkers and two dogs.
Historic venue Combermere Abbey near Nantwich is opening its grounds to the public for its popular annual bluebell walks.
The walks will also include walking tours around the historic abbey.

St Mary’s Church on Monks Lane in Acton organised several ‘Holly Holy Day’ events to mark the Battle of Nantwich.
The Church was open with ‘Tea at The Tower’ volunteers serving hot drinks and buttered toast.
Nantwich Museum has unveiled its programme of walks for January and February 2022.
Options for the highly popular guided walks include a Town Tour, a Welsh Row Tour and a special Battle of Nantwich Tour.
Over 55s in and around Nantwich are being invited to join the Canal & River Trust “active waterways” programme.
The 12-week walks programme is free to join and starts in November.

Monthly “Tea at The Tower” guided circular walks from St Mary’s Church in Acton restarted today (September 5) after being suspended since March 2020 due to the pandemic.
The ‘Tea at The Tower’ walks are at a relaxed pace from 1pm.
Everybody Sport and Recreation are re-launching its “Health Walks”.
The walks are being organised by trained volunteers, and will leave from Nantwich Swimming Pool and the Barony Sports Complex.
