Nantwich Museum has won a Sustainable Improvement Fund grant to help pay for a new website. The site, “Nantwich Museum Online”, will help the Pillory Street venue reach a wider audience through digital media.

The Nantwich Camera Club‘s Photographic Exhibition 2013 has launched at the town’s museum – and is proving a big hit. The display features 100 prints and projected image work by club members at the Pillory Street venue’s Millennium Gallery.

The revamped shop at Nantwich Museum has been unveiled to visitors. Work on renovating the shop was made possible by an Association of Independent Museums’ Sustainability Grant.

Workshops focussed on “footwear” form part of the Olympic Summer at Nantwich Museum celebrating the London 2012 Olympics. The sessions for children will take place at the Pillory Street museum this Wednesday and Thursday August 8 and 9.
Visitors to Nantwich Museum can view the London 2012 Olympic Torch carried in Crewe by Andy Fewtrell on May 31. Andy was one of 8,000 torchbearers involved in the countrywide relay who were able to retain their torches.
Nantwich Museum is seeking volunteers to help with the popular “Nantwich under the two Elizabeths” exhibition. The Pillory Street venue hosts the exhibition in the Millennium and Community galleries of the museum until Saturday September 1.
