Beauty salon staff in Nantwich are celebrating after raising more than £500 for Breast Cancer Care.
The bumper sum was made at a charity open evening at Madison Spa, Nantwich, as part of October ‘Wear it Pink’ campaign.
More than 70 beauty-conscious visitors were treated to complimentary pink nail-polishing, reflexology taster sessions and facials by top beauty houses including Decleor and Guinot.
Demonstrations of non-surgical face-lifting and fake tanning created interest alongside a medical-grade mineral make-up.
Guests enjoyed pink bubbly and pink rose cupcakes made by beauty therapist Jenna Davies.
A treasure hunt, collection and raffle for beauty hampers raised a total of £561.50.
Salon owner Karen Hamdy said: “We were thrilled at the attendance and amount raised. The pink evening proved such a success, we plan to make it an annual event.”
The salon will be staging a collection throughout the autumn and winter months and will present the funds to Breast Cancer Care in the New Year.
